Wives Day

Date: March 1, 2026 - 9:00 am

Heritage International Christian Church in 660 Knox Blvd in Radcliff Kentucky is designating the first Sunday in March as “Wives Day”. Wives are the unsung heroines of our society, and the time has come to give them the honor and respect afforded them for their role in American history and culture. Besides that, we think they are great! “Wives Day” is not a single event. It is a 24-hour holiday to celebrate the important roles of wives. “Wives Day” is also, a year-round educational drive to help young girls who want to one day become good wives and to help young boys learn how to treat a wife after they marry. Heritage International Christian Church will have special worship services on “Wives Day”, Sunday, March 1 at 9 am and 11 am. The RE:Fresh Marriage Conference

The Living Last Supper

Date: April 2, 2026 - 7:30 pm

You are cordially invited to the community presentation of The Living Last Supper at Main Post Chapel Bldg. 1193, Victory Street (Dixie Street) and Spearhead Division Avenue Fort Knox, KY 40121. Join us on Maundy Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 7:30 PM in the sanctuary. Where Jesus gathered with his closest companions on the eve of His crucifixion. You will be challenged to ponder your own loyalty and love of the Savior. Through this compelling drama and the music provided by the Chapel which be woven throughout. At the climatic point of the evening, Jesus will invite the congregation to come forward, and in a “you are there” type experience. You will have the opportunity to participate in the Lord’s Supper by receiving Communion. You and those you love will not want to miss this moving and inspirational time of worship.

The Service of Darkness

Date: April 3, 2026 - 7:00 pm

The Service of Darkness is a meditation on Jesus Christ’s sacrifice. Readings trace the story of Christ’s Passion; and the power of silence and darkness emphasize the drama of that momentous day. As a candle is extinguished after each reading, we will ponder the depth of Christ’s suffering and death. We will remember the nature His sacrifice as we listen to each reading. The extinguishing of the Christ Candle signifies his death and ultimate victory. The service will be held at Main Post Chapel Bldg. 1193 Victory Street (Dixie Street) and Spearhead Division Avenue Fort Knox, KY.

Pollinator Day

Date: April 25, 2026 - 10:00 am

Free, family-friendly event to be held on the Lawn of the Purdue Research Park of Southeast Indiana 3000 Technology Ave., New Albany. Classes will be held on Prescribed Burns for Habitat Development and Pollinator Pocket Gardens. Other activities include booths on Native Bees, Butterflies, Pollinators and Our Food Supply, Hummingbirds, Native Plants, Planting for Pollinators, Beeswax Lip Balm, a Pollinator Selfie Booth, Pollinator Games and much more. Local vendors, including food trucks will be onsite with pollinator related merchandise. Please plan accordingly as there is no ATM on site.
